LISTEN TALMIDIM- Uncle Moishy- Composed by Zale Newman- Vol. 2

Listen, Talmidim, very closely to what I have to say:
If you learn the Torah and review it with a friend,
You’ll be a Talmid Chochom one day.

CHORUS:
But there’s so much to learn, Rebbi,
All the sefarim in the library
It’ll take so long to learn every one
I’m afraid I’ll never be a Talmid Chochom.

We’ll start with the Aleph‐Beis,
We’ll learn how to read and how to write,
We’ll learn all the words in the Shema Yisrael,
And you’ll say them every day and night.

CHORUS:
But there’s so much to learn, Rebbi,
All the sefarim in the library
It’ll take so long to learn every one
I’m afraid I’ll never be a Talmid Chochom.

We’ll go on to Beraishis and Shemos,
Vayikra, Bamidbar, Devarim,
Make sure you review every Posuk that you learn,
So you’ll remember everything.

CHORUS:
But there’s so much to learn, Rebbi,
All the sefarim in the library
It’ll take so long to learn every one
I’m afraid I’ll never be a Talmid Chochom.

You’ll see that if you’re serious,
And you learn Torah each and every day,
You might even be a Rebbi before long,
And your Talmidim will hear you sing our song.

Listen, Talmidim, very closely to what I have to say:
If you learn the Torah and review it with a friend,
You’ll be a Talmid Chochom one day.

If I learn the Torah and review it with a friend,
Yes, I’ll be a Talmid Chochom one day.
