THROUGH MY CAMPER’S EYES- Sung & Composed By Jordan Odinsky- A Time For Music (HASC) 26 Video

Is there a place in this world I can go to be free
Free from the stares and the worries around me
Where I can be anything, I can be myself
I wonder what a place like that would be.

CHORUS:
And I arrived at Camp HASC and it was magical
All the smiles I received warmed my soul
And suddenly no more worries in life, everything’s okay
I never want this feeling to go away.

I stepped off the bus my counselors greeted me
They showed me around this beautiful place
And what I learn from them, they can’t even understand
They’re the ones to see me for who I truly am.

Each year I come with goals to achieve
I can walk, I can play, and even dance without fear
I can’t explain why I change it’s something in the atmosphere
I can’t ever thank Hashem enough for bringing me here.

CHORUS:
And I arrived at Camp HASC and it was magical
All the smiles I received warmed my soul
And suddenly no more worries in life, everything’s okay
I never want this feeling to go away.

As I head home I hold my head up high
Although I am sad, I’m crying tears of joy
It means so much to me, seven weeks to be free
Not a feeling in this world that compares to this.

I want to thank my friends around me
I thank my counselors and my parents for sending me here
But most of all I thank Hashem for creating a place like this
No other place in the world I would rather be.

CHORUS:
And I arrived at Camp HASC and it was magical
All the smiles I received warmed my soul
And suddenly no more worries in life, everything’s okay
I never want this feeling to go away.
