LYRIC

THIS TIME- Mordechai Ben David- Composed and Written by Ken Burgess- The English Collection

VERSE 1:
A cloud upon the mountain
breathes wind upon our face,
the shepherd of the valley
blows the horn of the Holy grace
this time.

The angels of the orchard
sing songs of holiness,
a thousand stars of heaven
light the way to the Pardes
this time.

CHORUS 1:
And the wise men who were lost
return this time
revelation in their eyes,
and we say a little prayer
say a prayer this time
and God in heaven heard it and He smiled,
we’ve been looking for the one
to save our life,
the prophet of the truth
this time.

Eliyahu’s the sign
at the gates of Jerusalem
there we stand
all the souls of men,
and we hear the sweet words
and the shadows of shame,
drifted away
this time.

VERSE 2:
The cedar trees of Lebanon
climb tall among the men,
sweet rivers run from Babylon
Gan Eden grows again
this time.

There stands the Holy Temple
the Shechinah there within,
there comes the son of David
born to overturn our sin
this time.

CHORUS 2:
And the Torah that we’ve loved
and learned This time
shows her glory through his eyes,
and we say a little prayer
say a prayer this time
and G-d in heaven heard it and He smiled,
we’ve been looking for the one
to save our life,
the prophet of the truth
this time.

There is peace within man
there is love in the promised land
here we are
Israel survives
like the lion and the lamb
all the anger and shame
drifted away…
This time.
This time.
This time.
