THE LAST SEDER- Sung & Composed By R’ Shlomo Carlebach Z”L- Reb Shlomo Version (Scroll down for Streicher Version)

(Humming/Whistling)
This is the story, of the second seder,
the last seder in the Warsaw Ghetto.
There was just one bunker bed,
There was just one jewish family left and one jewish child.
(Humming)
Until Moshiach is coming, there won’t be such a seder…
The son Moishele is asking, Ma Nishtana,
Why did (do) we go through so much pain,
more than anybody in the world?
Moishele is asking the deepest questions in the world,
And in heaven, and in heaven, and in heaven,
There is silence,
The last jewish child in the Warsaw Ghetto is asking G-d
the deepest questions in the world.
And his father is just about to answer,
The story is so long, the story has no end till Moshiach is coming.
And Moishele says, “Tatte Ziseh,
I have one more question of my own.”
(Humming/Whistling)
Moishele says, “Tatteh Ziseh,
Please tell me, please tell me,
Will you be alive next year by the seder, to answer me,
Will I be alive to ask you the Ma Nishtana?
Will any Jew be alive in the world,
Will there anywhere in the world be any Moishele left
to ask the Ma Nishtana?
So by the first four questions, there was silence in heaven,
But when Moishele asked his own question,
All the tears in heaven were flowing away.
The three fathers, the four mothers, covered their faces,
they couldn’t stop crying.
(Humming)
But Moishele’s father, a heilige yid, a heilige yid,
This is what he said, listen to what he said:
He says to Moishele, “I don’t know if you’ll be alive,
I don’t know if I will be alive.
But I know there’ll always be one Moishele,
Somewhere, somewhere, somewhere, there will be one Moishele,
Who will ask Ma Nishtana
Because the Ribono Shel Olam,
master of the world, the one, the only one, promised us
That there will always be one Moishele.

THE LAST SEDER- R’ Shlomo Carlebach Z”L- Michoel Streicher Version- Solid English

The last seder in the Warsaw ghetto…
There was one Moishele,
the last Moishele in the Warsaw ghetto,
Asking his father Ma Nishtana.
Why this night so long and more terrible than any nights before?
While Moishele is asking all the questions, heaven and earth stood still.
The angels were afraid to make noise,
And his father… his father wants to answer
Moishele says “Tatte ziseh,
I have one more question of my own and this is my question:
I want to know, Tatte ziseh, would I still be alive next year
To ask you the Ma Nishtana?
Would there any jewish child be left to ask the Ma Nishtana?
Will there any jewish father be left to answer
And the father answered:
I don’t know, I don’t know if I’ll be alive,
I don’t know, I don’t know if you’ll be alive.
But I know that there will always be one Moishele
Somewhere, somewhere, asking the Ma Nishtana.
I don’t know if we’ll be alive, but I know one thing…
