Spreading their morals to extinguish our spark.
A small band of soldiers with courage and faith
Guard the Shabbos, Rosh Chodesh,
The covenant of the eighth.
A victory – miraculous, but a Temple in ruin.
The lofty Avodah, they await to resume.
Then one flask is found, purity within–
Engulfed in its flames, a new age begins.
