You know, when the heiliger Reb Shaya Ben Reb Moshe
was the Shamas by the Lisker Rov,
he used to hand out bulkalach
to all the chassidim who were sitting around.
There was this one time
when the Rebbe was staring at Shayala.
He was staring and staring and staring. The chassidim said,
“Rebbe. What are you staring at?
What’s different? What’s going on?”
The Rebbe said, “Don’t you see, how Shayala is giving out
hundreds of bulkalach? But I know, I saw, that the bag was empty.
And there were no bulkalach in the bag!”
Reb Moshe Weinberger said,
sometimes, you think your bag is empty. You have nothing left.
Chevra, you have what it takes. Just reach in the bag.
