JUST SAY PEACE- Jeff Braverman & Jonathan Rimberg- Shoresh

A century of decades
Made up of bitter dreams
With lives we paid
Like a ransom that we never owed
We paid in full, we prayed, we hoped
But even after holocaust
In ‘48 we won but lost.

In ‘56 the war raged on
In ‘67 continue on
Six years passed surprise attack
On Yom Kippur behind our backs
On the highest holy day of all
Once again we made the call.

We’re saying just say peace.

We stand together we sit alone
As parents wait by a telephone
And pray that their children make it home
While politics and stones are thrown
Now we don’t know what’s right or wrong
But life is short and the road is long…

Just say Peace.
