Let me tell a tale, I beg you all to listen,

It’s a story that I’m part of every summer,
And though you may not know it, so are you, so are you.

I lived happily at home with all my siblings,
They were loving and devoted as could be.
But each summer they would head off to the mountains,
To a camp that wasn’t made just quite for me.

But one day my parents came with smiling faces,

Each and every counselor made me feel at home.
