Hi, Country Yossi!
Tuki! What are you doin’ here?
What am I doin’ here? What are you doin’ here with all of these fancy machines?
Well, I’m in the middle of making a record here, Tuki, that’s what I’m doin’ here.
Oh, is that what this is?
Yes, you little nudnik, that’s what this is. Anyway, what are you doing out of bed?
Well, you promised to tell me a story today, and I want my story!
I promised to tell you a story?
You certainly did!
Well, a promise is a promise. What story do you wanna hear, Tuki?
I wanna hear… a Big Bad Moish story!
(Laughs) Hmmm, ok.
I’ll tell you about the time Big Bad Moish saved my life three times!
Three times? Wow!
That’s right, Tuki. You’re really gonna love this story!
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!
Ok, here we go!
—————————————————————————
Well, I went out to take a walk in Boro Park one night,
When suddenly three hoodlums jumped me, lookin’ for a fight.
They asked me for my money so I gave them all I had,
But they still said, we’re gonna have to beat you up real bad!
—————————————————————————
And then they pulled out baseball bats…
(And then?)
They stepped into the batter’s box…
(And then?)
They started swinging bats at my head like it was a softball!
(And then? And then?)
Eh eh…
—————————————————————————
And then along came Moish,
Big Bad Moish,
Slow walkin’ Moish,
Slow talkin’ Moish,
Every now and then I thank Hashem for Big Bad Moish.
—————————————————————————
Well I was up in Woodbourne in a camp one hot July,
I got lost in the forest and my throat was a’gettin’ dry,
When suddenly, a grizzly bear came roarin’ through the trees,
My b-b-body started shakin’ from my hands down to me kn-knees.
—————————————————————————
And then ich hub gemeint ach gey chalishen…
(And then?)
He looked at me like I was a pizza pie and he was starving!
(And then?)
He stood up on his hind legs and opened his mouth so wide I could see his tonsils!
(And then? And then?)
Eh eh…
—————————————————————————
And then along came Moish,
Big Bad Moish,
Slow walkin’ Moish,
Slow talkin’ Moish,
Every now and then I thank Hashem for Big Bad Moish.
—————————————————————————
Well, I was home alone one night, I snuggled up in bed,
When suddenly, I heard a noise that filled my heart with dread,
A giant monster with three eyes and two gigantic teeth,
Started chewin’ up my bed which I was underneath.
—————————————————————————
And then he swallowed my pillow…
(And then?)
He ate up my mattress!
(And then?)
His eyes started rolling in his head!
(And then?
He looked at me cross-eyed and said,
Ich gey fun dir machin hot fleish!
(And then? And then?)
Eh eh…
—————————————————————————
And then along came Moish,
Big Bad Moish,
Slow walkin’ Moish,
Slow talkin’ Moish,
Every now and then I thank Hashem for Big Bad Moish.
Every now and then I thank Hashem for Big Bad Moish.
